wako
Buying a new Fiesta Zetic S 1.6 TDCI 95bhp shortly. The ford dealer are doing an engine upgrade and it will bring it to 115 bhp! Already impressed with the standard performance from the car I test drove! Will advise when I take delivery! The upgrades are done by my main ford dealer and it costs £322 in total. Warranty- if it is proven that the upgrade is at fault then the upgrade supplier covers it. My last few cars I have had upgrade. It adds about £50 to £60 to my annual insurance. The mid range pull is truly rewarding! It also is a little more economical as you do not need to change gear as often. I think lots of car manufacturers miss out by not offering this option. Nice to Ford are offering the Mountune upgrade.
Mark M.K
What Ford dealer is this? Far as im aware, No Ford dealer will remap that engine (1.6 TDCI or 1.4) The only engine Ford dealers can remap is the 1.6 petrol via the Mountune upgrade which costs over £1,000. Even then, only a select few dealers can perform the Mountune upgrade. Most can't Quick search on the internet, company called Superchips will remap the 1.6 TDCI for £399. http://www.superchips.co.uk/search?make=9&fueltype=2&model=1&variant=2175 Gives you an extra 23 BHP. However - THIS WILL VOID ANY WARRANTY
