Getting My New Fiesta Titanium Tomorrow :)

Hi all.. new to this forum. I will be getting my new fiesta titanium in sea grey tomorrow and i cant wait. I am from Malta and here we only have the ambiente, trend and titanium models available. i went for the titanium cause it looked so much better equipped then the other ones. since yesterday i have been looking on the forum tryin to find out if the titanium has the built in usb port or not cause im worried it wont have it after lookin at this picture of the dealer approved range http://www.gasanapproved.com/gasan/detail.aspx?id=190159. Cant understand why that ex demo car dosent even look like a titanium model but more like a trend equipped version.. The titanium model i have been into at the showroom had the matrix display and the salesman said it will be exactly like it but on the brochure says it is an option so its a bit confusing.

i was also reading about the vin number and the one im gettin has this vin number:

anyone can decipher this for me pls? tried the ford etis website but keeps sayin its busy all the time :(

Hi Ian, Etis says that it's busy for me also unfortunately, they must be doing site maintenance at the moment or something. Looking at the pictures of the ex-demo Fiesta Titanium on the site that you gave the link for, the specs must be completely different in Malta, as that model doesn't have climate control or cruise control (amongst maybe other things) as a Titanium model would in the UK.

I'm sure you've already seen this, going from this and the picture I wouldn't bank on it having USB, especially seeing as they list something like 'mirror with side indicator' on the specs. You're not going to miss off BT/USB which is a highly desirable feature.

i somewhere read that now ford are fittig bt+usb as standard on titanium models with 6 Speakers where before it was an option. also im getting myne with 16" 7 spoke wheelies and not the 15" ones that are in the official ford page over here. confusion confusion lol.

Not really bothered about usb and bt (altough usb stick would be cool to have for music) cause ill use aux connection to hook up mobile phone for music but i want the 4" display like the one i tried in showroom and not that 2 line lcd display.

Im gonna complain to salesman in showroom cause he has the uk spec titanium to see on the floor and then they sell you a lower spec one. Only in Malta :|

The reason you get a lower spec in Malta is you pay a lower price.

There are companies who import Maltese cars to the UK,and sell them cheaper than Uk dealers,

One of my friends has a Maltese Focus zetec,which is completely diferently spec to the uk version.

The Malta cars also have a 2 year warranty,as opposed to 3 years in the Uk.

Strange, I get exactly as you, no minor features section for your car. Works ok using my VIN number.
