I know I'm not around much now but I would like to introduce Wally...

That was my car of choice in my recent Best of the Best competition entry, same colour too! Not that I'm jealous or anything...

I don't always unless the plate leads to an easy name.

Just as long as nobody thinks it's a comment on the driver. 🤔

Well, the car is home and settling in nicely into it's new family.

Had to give it a quick bimble on the A roads of course.

Make sure whoever's makes up the plates doesnt mistake the "J" for a "G" and you should be ok 😉

Never named a car as such but coming from our last Focus which we did put a private plate on with my full initials and the initials of the Mrs but was spotted everywhere we went so it got left on the car when we got our present mk4 which fortunately has both of our first names initials on the latter part of the  number plate seperated by an  "X" which was another reason to purchasing it.

Ive had that for years Gimps or gimpy, as a kid i was called jimbo which then had a qu substituted for the j

am unsure if ive said on here how in got the name, allegedly i was a rather cry-y baby and my mother was loosing her rag with me, my aunty said to her i'll take jimpy it kinda stuck.

How are you finding the P Zeros and new seats compared to the old car?

Seats are better as they have brought back the sest base extension option.

Also love the fact you can raise & lower the seat front angle.

Tyres are good, better rim saver bead so less kerbing hopefully.

Not so happy with the loss of ambient lights, removal of the usb in the armrest cubby, removal of the dash cubby, changing of the mirror controls or that I now have to go to the sync screen to properly control the drive modes.

Has it lost ambient lighting completely? I knew multi colour was gone but I assumed it still had single colour (cyan?).

Driving modes don’t appear on the digital dash?

One thing I like about the analog dials is they are red in any mode and I have the ambient lighting set to red to match. I think the blue digital dash would be annoying. I only use sport mode occasionally, most of the time it’s in normal for my commute.

In sport mode the dash goes red.

The old way for driving modes was S button for sport then cycle through with mode button, however now the mode button brings up the menu on the main screen.

Only led light I see inside the car is a faint one in the tray in front of the gearstick.
