Clicking sort of noise when turning, Ford Focus 2019 ST Line

When turning the wheel either way on my focus, it makes sort of a clicking noise. It does this when stood still and moving

I have recently bought the car and it went back under the warranty, the garage said they greased the steering shaft and topped up power steering fluid. 

This DID fix the issue when I was at the garage, the noise was gone, all perfect, I then got home around 1.5 hour drive from the garage and it came back.

Any ideas on what this could be? I have a video of the noise if I can share it?

Could the noise be an electrical issue with the power steering?

Whatever it is, I dread to think where they've poured PAS fluid.

It sounds mechanical to me.  Potentially a suspension top mount sticking, so the spring is 'jumping' on the rubber mount instead of turning smoothly.  Or the track rod end is stiff so again, jumpy rather than smooth.  Or the steering column bearing.  Or it could potentially be the rack itself, but I haven't seen many (any?) Mk4 racks fail in this way so far.  The Mk3 electric racks were a common fault.

It's to be hoped they didn't pour power steering fluid is the small coolant expansion tank (two fitted on my model might not be on yours).

The second tank does look exactly like the PAS reservoir on earlier models with the hydraulic steering pump.

Could have poured in to the brake fluid resevoir?

Yes, the best advice I can offer in this case is to take it to a decent, trusted, garage asap and ask for their opinion.  If they can put it up on a lift and check the suspension & steering components, that would be ideal.
