Fault code p2002 will dpf cleaner cure it

    Take it to the dealer and get them to sort it out. It probably just wants a forced regen.

    Yeh I live on an island and dealer not playing ball will dpf cleaner not help

    Don't use DPF cleaner.

    If you are on an island I can understand why this has happened, I don't expect you do much motorway driving.

    My suggestion would be to use a windows laptop and download FORScan software. Connect to the vehicle using the vLinker FS cable.

    You will then be able to use FORScan to do a forced regen. Make sure there is plenty of diesel in the tank, it can take up to 60 minutes at a very fast tick over.

    This is the same process that the main dealer would carry out.

    The only other alternative is to get the engine nice and hot and drive at a constant 60 MPH for 20 to 30 minutes at high revs (use one gear less than you would normally be in)

    Thanks I have took it to a local garage and he is good but wouldn't let him do a forced regen

    Unless he either has Ford dealer equipment or is using FORScan then it is quite probable that a generic system would not be able to initialise the regen procedure.
