I am a huge Lucozade Zero Original fan. I've loved Lucozade since a kid, but the onset of Diabetes stopped me drinking it, till they launched the 'zero' variant a few years back. Pre pandemic, you could often get it on offer for £1/liter. Then Lucozade changed the pack size from one liter to 900ml, but price remained the same. (Apparently they did this because of customer demand, because us customers always want to pay more for less!)

Now however, having been unavailable for almost a year, it's been released last week in 500ml bottles at £1.69 = £3.38/liter!

That is a a whopping 338% increase!

Anyone else have an example of a favourite rocketing in price?

Mr Kipling Bakewell tarts.  Three quid for a box of 6 now!! 😮

Needless to say I haven't bought any at that price.  Some of the own brand ones are awful though, far too sweet for me.
