I haven't connected my phone to the bluetooth for over 6 weeks now because i had an operation and couldn't drive. Its used to connect automatically for calls and audio now it's only connecting to just calls no audio. Iv tried disconecting and unpairing my phone and connecting again. Nothing is working. Am i doing something wrong??

Android or iPhone?

Check that bluetooth audio/media is enabled for the paired device on both the phone and Sync.

Do you have a 2023 Mondeo?

Your profile said 2023.

What version of Sync have you got?

2016 is a bit of a changeover year for some Fords. Not sure what a 2016 Mondeo would have.

There is a tick box for audio. When i slide it accross to activate it, it slides across for a couple of seconds then turns back off

If you go to settings and system information, or about Sync, what version are you on?

Is it Sync 2 or Sync 3?

What build/version of those?

Sync 2 is mostly black with 4 quadrants on the home screen.

Sync 3 is blue and white, with controls in a bar along the bottom.

Ok, Sync 2 then.

The last version available is 3.10, but that was still released a good number of years ago. I wouldn't have thought anything in the last 6 weeks would stop your phones connecting with bluetooth audio in terms of out of date software.

How is your battery voltage, has the car not been used for 6 weeks either?

My brother lent it for a few days to go on holiday. Do you think they could of changed a setting that would of messed with it?

The first picture is the music sign faded as if it isn't connected to audio.

The 2nd pic is the audio off and the 3rd pic is when i try to turn it on it blacks out.

Have you tried turning bluetooth audio off and and back on, on Sync?

In your first screenshot, you can go in to further settings of that paired devices and toggle audio and other settings.

Too subtle Alex 🤣

The OP also has a Ford model "Morgan" perhaps a joint venture with the sports car company ?
