My ranger has just been returned from a main dealer after having full service, Cam belt, brake booster and master cylinder replaced. £4k bill! For reference 2021 reg and just about to hit 80k. There is a really nasty noise when cold. It sound like a collapsed bearing in the gear box, but wondering if there is anyone on here who may be able to point me in the right direction? I have audio and video files I can share but this forum will not allow me to upload!

    Videos can't be uploaded here directly.  They can be uploaded to a hosting website (Youtube etc) and then linked across to here.

    Given the circumstances of this fault though, I think it should just go straight back to the dealer for them to sort out.

    That sounds awful.  How did the dealer techs not notice it!

    I'm not sure exactly what it is but I really would just send it back.  Tbh I'd get them to come pick it up rather than driving it any further.
