Water In Door

Hi All

wonder if anybody has this problem?

have a MONDEO 2.0 TDCI 2007

after it has been out in the rain the drain holes in the door don't drain(when door opened water drains, but not when door shut)

which is worrying if the car is left for any amount of time will this water overflow and damage the door panel or interior of the car.

the drain holes are not blocked.
