Breaks 2021

Featured Replies

Hi guys I’m new here thanks for any replies. I have a 21 plate Ranger 2l bi turbo just had its first mot it at peoples Ford Edinburgh. I bought new break pads at around 10000 miles first service as the breaks made a bit noise when I got the new break pads and drove around the noise was (as the technician said) horrendous and I needed new pads and disks at around 20k-25k miles (second service).the noise went back to how it first was and tbh I was sick of taking it in to the garage I have work to do. Now it’s at 47k and 4th service first mot it’s fails break pads and disks the pads are at 95% and the disks are heavily worn. I only have serviced the truck at Ford. They say it’s the way I drive but I know it isn’t. Has anyone had 4 sets of break pads and 3 sets of brake discs before 50k on a wildtrack or any motor to be honest ? I’m really thinking they have not done the work I’ve all the paperwork etc.
