Has anyone had issues with a 2020 model, 35000 miles on clock, had a new gear box 5 months ago now needs a new engine, turbo, intercooler and timing belt. Refused goodwill. Need some advice

    I take it this is a 2.0 EcoBlue engine?  With a degraded timing belt?

    Has it got full service history at the correct intervals?  Has an engine flush ever been used on it?

    Who's quoting for these things?  A new engine comes with a new timing belt, so that's not a separate expense.  And the intercooler can't be damaged by a belt failure.  That could be damaged by a front end impact or being holed by a stone, but is not related to the belt issue.

    The gearbox failure is also likely to be unrelated.  Unless that's proof of this truck having had a very hard life so far.

    I’ve posted any message with more detail. We trusted Allen Ford Bath but they are totally and utterly useless. Ford Customer Service are useless too. 
    The truck has 36000 miles and has had 2 services. It was booked in for its 3rd whilst it was in with Ford Bath again. 
    its the 2020 model with the 2litre engine as you said.
