Reset after repairing wiring harness

I have a 2009 Ranger. This morning I discovered that squirrels had eaten part way through the wiring haness. I made repairs to the wires and tried to start the truck. Nothing! Is there a reset that can be done adter connecting ower back to the fuse box. Thank you in advance for any helpful ideas.

    Perhaps the squirrels have made other wiring modifications that you just haven't found yet 🤔
