Flick indicator - too many flashes !!

Featured Replies

Can the number of flashes be adjusted ?

On my Focus Mk4 when using the 'flick' indicator function, the lights flash 3 times and turn off. This seems to be quite the ideal number for general daily driving about town and even for lane changes on motorways.

When using the 'flick' indicator function on my Ranger Mk3, it flashes the indicators 6 times and turns off. This is too much, I'm often at the next turning and the indicators are still flashing from the last turn !

Now on the Focus, the number of flashes is adjustable in the BCM using FORScan, but sadly I can't find such an adjustment in the Ranger's BCM.

Does anyone know if this can be changed, and if so how ?

Is it not already in your cluster menu?

Try central configuration or IPC

Thanks Dave. I've tried the IPC and also not in the cluster menu, but I'll have a look at the central configuration. I feel sure it must be able to be adjusted somehow.
