Front coil spring failure ranger

Wondering if anyone else has had coil spring failure on front passenger side on 2 year old ranger 72 plate. Vehicle was parked up and two hours later neighbour heard loud bang as he past after walk. Warranty for spring failure but got drivers side coil spring changed as I was always told to do pair , had to pay for drivers side as they said not broken , also ford garage i phoned said to drive until other spring fails!!, phoned ford customer care spoke to person who said if not broken no help towards drivers side . what’s your thoughts as jeep front passenger front sensor failed too, warranty job, many thanks as first time I have text.

    Springs will fail at any given time, if your warranty covers that then your lucky. Why would warranty pay for the one thats not broken ? Thats on you if you want to replace it, NOT the warranty company.
