Hi,

I've managed to set the option (via ford scan) for auto lock, but i can't select it!!!! Any ideas where i need to go in forscan to active this at all?

Did you just change the settings with FORScan for the instrument cluster ?

You need to make changes to the Body Control Module (BCM) and the Instrument Cluster (IC)

I think (in the 2021 model / PX3 at least) that it's missing hardware for auto locking, but I could be wrong

I have a 2022 Ranger Stormtrak (as well as the Focus), and I used FORScan to turn on the auto locking without any problem.

Oh really, I tried on my 2019 but didn't manage it. Don't suppose you have or followed a guide?

Sorry no guide, I kind of just 'did it' 🤣

The settings are in the BCM and also the IPC. Just use the search in FORScan and type in 'lock' for each of the modules. That will take you to the section dealing with the door locks. Select 'Auto Lock' or it may be called something slightly different on the Ranger. Enable it in both BCM and IPC and remember to click save.

Then all you will need to do is go in to the vehicle settings in the instrument cluster and 'tick' auto lock.
