Hi folks I’m sure you’ve heard this story before and I’m sorry if I’m asking you all to repeat yourself in any way. 
21 plate first mot last September 

70k on clock owned since 6000miles

A perfect full service history with Ford 

Still got £17500 on finance. 
 

wet belt failed and it needs a new engine at £12000 Ford offered £3700 in words not officially in email. 
 

I simply don’t have the money and can’t work it’s a nightmare. 
 

anyone been through this and willing to point in the right direction 

I have reached out in directions like garage, finance company and trading standards. It’s been almost 4 weeks. 
 

any help would be greatly appreciated

    Take it somewhere that will repair the engine, I've seen lots repaired

    Worse case on those is bent cams and smashed followers but that's still not £12,000

    Or reject the vehicle back to the finance company, see Martin Lewis site for advice
