Oil Leak?

Hi i drive a 2door sierra cosworth and last night i opened my bonnet to find oil everywhere. Could not see my rocker cover as there was puddles of iol on it, it had been hitting the belt i think and getting sprayed everywhere as the inside of my bonnett was covered as well as everywhere else. I cannot see where it's coming from but i cleaned it all up and drove it about 5mins home to open the bonnett and find the rocker the same again covered in oil so it's as if it's maybe coming from an oil feed as it seems to be coming out quick. Anybody have any ideas what it might be? Thanks

why not give everythin a good clean down again, if the oil is throwing everywhere it could also be hitting a cooling fan. start the engine with bonnet up, oil pressure will be there so stand well back and see if you can spot where its leaking from. recommend you check your oil level before you start. it should be pretty obvious where the leak is comming from. Had a similar experience on an old mk2 escort, i topped the oil up in a garage, drove 180 miles home, pulled up in a vast plume of smoke, only to see my filler cap wedged on the side of my inner wing where i put it for safe keeping. Have you topped your oil up recently?. as a foot note my escort was white!!! it took days!!!

good hunting.
