Injector probem

Featured Replies

Hi, just got my 1st ranger, it had a slipped cambelt so it was a cheap buy.

Not bad on the spanners so I renewed the cambelt & rocker arms, no other damage done thankfully, i retimed it etc but it won't start, multimeter shoes no current to the injectors, had diagnostic on it and shows no fault codes.  Wondered if anybody has got any clues as to what to check next please, battery in good order and cranks over fine with no knocks, cleaned cam & crank sensors as well.  Any help would be really appreciated as I am stuck.

Regards

Welcome!

As this is your first post and you mention "diagnostics" "our" first point is likely to be "with what"?
Anything other than Forscan and lead or Bluetooth version doesn't meet "our" standards (Ford specific codes) so I'd ask that first?
Beyond that, from previous posts I have read, if there isn't crank/cam correlation or insufficient speed (etc) injectors are not triggered.
