Hi all, i had an issue with my 2017 3.2 6 speed Automatic box, manged to remove the gear box today to find thst the torque converter flex plate has sheered off. Hss anyone had the same issue and can anyone help with where would be best to buy get a new replacement? Thanks in advance

    Does the torque converter look new?  The flex plate nuts & bolts must be replaced any time the plate is removed from the torque converter.  If old fixings were reused that could explain why it's failed now.

    I think this will be a Ford only part.  Part number seems to have been superseded since the catalogues I can access.  I can only find one online and that's out of stock. 5343031 Flywheel Plate New genuine Ford part | Deutsche Parts

    I would be be expecting to pay around £250 for the flex plate and bolts from a Ford dealer if they are still available.
