I've been trawling online for some kind of definitive answer about what tax I will be paying on a 2021 I'm model Ranger Raptor in 2026  2.0  213 bhp Seems to be so many varied amounts .Do any of you fine people own a similar vehicle and maybe impart some advice to a new buyer any advice gratefully received.Many thanks

Many thanks for the information was worried as it said it could be up to 3 or 4 grand because the value new was over £40000 and there is a surcharge on vehicles over that.Many thanks

URGENT UPDATE. The Ranger Raptor is classed as a car not a Light Commercial Vehicle.

Road tax is based on the emmisons and is not the same as all other Rangers.

The road tax (Vehicle Excise Duty or VED) for a 2022 Ford Ranger 2.0 diesel in the UK is a flat rate of £345 per year. 
This flat rate applies because the Ford Ranger is classified as a light commercial vehicle (LCV) for VED purposes, provided it has a payload of over 1 tonne.
