Radio code

Hi new to the forum so thanks for the add daughter has a 62 plate fiesta diesel just trying to find out if this radio system needs a radio security code to be put in if I disconnect the car battery got on to my local fords and they said all ford radios need a security code this picture below is system she has in car thanks for any help

No code needed.

(The majority of Fords after about 2010 don't need a radio code.)

Thank you very much for your help ford said it did and would have to take a logbook and my daughter would have to pay 40 pound would you also be able to tell me if a 61 plate Cmax would need a code as my son has just bought one of them so got another car just cant keep up with the kids buying cars have not seen the car yet so not sure the radio system but with the info you said he should be ok thank you so much for your help😁

No problem. 2011 C-Max should be a Mk2, so that won't have a radio code either.

Basically if the radio is the same shape as that Fiesta one then it doesn't need a code.

The earlier radios (generally pre-2010) were a conventional rectangular shape, those ones do need a code.

I have a 2012 galaxy titanium x and that definitely needs a code. Some seller on the bay do offer a code service which is definitely cheaper than going to ford

Galaxy held onto the old style radio until about 2014. Yours won't be the same shape as the one pictured.
