Eastbound and down
Hi my 1990 Granada Scorpio 3.0i automatic has low revs when idle whether its in park, drive, neutral or reverse and keeps cutting out. My local garage has diagnosed this as a mixture problem but they are unable to locate the mixture adjuster. Does anybody know where this is located or could the problem be related to something else. I hope you can help. Regards Paul
tommy.h
Hi have you checked the Idle Control Valve (icv) this sounds more like your problem.(dont think the mixture is adjustable) maybe through the ECU but otherwise it is set. also have you had your trouble codes read? tom p.s. are you sure it is a 3.0 & not 2.9? this is the only engine i can find.
