freeman3030 Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 A notice came up on the centre screen of the car notifying my that the battery in the key fob needs replacing. I have a fiesta titanium with the keyless entry. Have checked the 2nd key fob ANC that ones almost dead too. Is this something I can do myself or do I have to take it to ford? freeman3030 Posted January 24, 2011 Author Share Posted January 24, 2011 I've searched the manual and it doesn't show you how to change the battery with keyless entry, only with the normal keys with either a fixed or folding blade. My key has a blade concealed within the key fob and is only used if the battery is completely dead or remote locking not functioning. Icant find a battery anywhere within my key fob!
