Great job!

adding those 17's and the lowering kit have now got it spot on!

been following your threads for quite a while now; liked certain things you've done, not so much on others...but at the end of the day (like what most people have said) its always down to personal taste! well done for actually getting on with it :D

Really excited about getting the springs, but somehow I am still worried about having 2 other passengers in the back and luggages in the trunk...any words of comfort? :D

It will be fine mate.

Ford wouldnt sell and fit them if the car became unfit for purpose

Springs are stiffer so will handle a heavuer load without compressing as much as the original springs. I had 4 adults in my car today with 17" streetpack alloys and not s single arch srub heard. Do it.... you know you want to :D

Ben... why did you put compressors on front before you remove shock? then replace shock before removing compressors?

The top mount holds the springs in place. The whole unit can be removed then use the compressors before you undo the top strut bolt. Alot easier to do with zero disadvantages.

Most likely will. Thanks for sharing your experience. Will help me with the decision :)

Just have to find the right place to buy them from. I will ask Ford next week and see what price they come up with...

Tato, as Ben said, he got em through me, a friend of mine will do em for around £135 delivered. Thats including vat. I couldn't find a better price.

e.g.

http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_fiesta_2008_eibach_pro_spring_kit_2298.htm

137.40 before vat (+20%, roughly an extra £28) and still got delivery to put on top.

http://www.accessoryplus.co.uk/product/Ford_Fiesta_09%7C2008%2B_Eibach_Sports_Suspension_Lowering_Kit_FO1569225

151.59 inc vat but still without delivery

http://www.allenparts.com/product/Fiesta_2008%2B_Eibach*_Sports_Suspension_Lowering_Kit_Ford-KA-MK2-2008-onwards-1569225

150.90, thats with their "special 20% discount" but without delivery.

Just pm me if you decide you want em.

I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself with rattle cans, just save and wait until you can afford to have it professionally done.

You can get a good finish with rattle cans, but however good you are, it still wont be as good as with a proper air compressor and spray gun.

I'm saying this because it's a new car and you want it looking perfect..

Fitted some new washer jets

Rather than the 2 jets of water on the standard ones, they give an even mist effect across the whole windscreen

They are from a 2011 Focus.. Part number in picture

Sprayed Panther Black.. obviously!
