I have a Escort Ghia 19 1.6 this morning I found the window smached and the Cd player Ripped out there is a big hole now with two wires out one is white which im guessing was in the back of the cd player? the other has just a round shape at the end.My main fear here is they have taken out ripped out the factory fitted alarm? I locked the car and opend the boot im sure the alarm normally goes off when i did this before but I hear nothing.I tryed operning the doors from inside but i couldnt open them and no alrm went off.Does anyone know how to test the alarm "I only lock the door via the key not with a key fob".Many thanks Andrew

sorry to hear youve been robbed. in my fusion if you sit inside the car. arm the cenrtal locking usisng the fob which activares the alarm also. now open the door latch form inside dont touch the fob. then get some one to open the door outside and the alarm should sound .hope this helps and sorry for you losses again

Sorry to hear of your news lets hope nothing bad happens to the

thieving little s*#ts.

Open the window fully, lock the door from outside activating the alarm then lean in and

open it from inside this will set off alarm (if its working).

Hope this helps.
