Hello all....I have now nearly got my Focus ship shape.....have sorted the serious issues....EGR Valve has been replaced and ive had the CAM belt and water pump changed. All with your help and advice. Next on the list is the !Removed! boot lock.

I now know the lock mechanism is ok and working its the wiring loom that is faulty. Does anyone know where i can get a wiring loom for a MK2 Focus Saloon, and how much would it be? The code on the wiring loom is 5M5T 17N400 DAC.

cheers

haha they do seem incredibly rare dont they....think they only made the mk2 saloon available in Ghia and Titamium trims. also (i know i'll be in the minority here) I actually prefer the look/shape of the mk2 saloon to that of the hatchback. The mk1 saloon looked horrific but they improved it 10 fold with the mk2. Apparently according to several reviews the handleing of the mk2 saloon is better than the hatch, more poised, more responsive etc. since owning mine (sep 2010) ive only seen about 6 other mk2 saloons! will post a pic of side profile of mine so people can see a mk2 saloon:-)

Resurrecting an old thread....

I need one of these for Carmel's saloon, so quoted the part no at my local dealer.

He was astonished to find that it has gone up in the last 6 weeks from £46.00 to....

£114.00

I'll fix the existing loom , then.
