Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing the above.

I just wondered what the real MPG figures were?

As the leaflets says up to 60 odd extra urban, 50 combined?

Sorry if this has been asked a lot, but it would really help.

Hi mark !

I own a Ford C-Max 2.0 Tdci Ghia 2005

Extra urban is over 60 Mpg

Urban about 45 Mpg

Of course this is when driven sensible, which is hard in a car of this calibre.

The on board computer when set to mpg constantly updates and displays at current speed your mpg

When you set the cruise control to 70 mph your speed stays constant up or down hill but the mpg does varie slightly

On a long journey to scotland we acheived 68 mpg total journey thats urban and extra urban.

A truely remarkable car best i've ever owned and i've had a few.

Hi Christopher,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I decided to bite the bullet and go for it.

I have got to collect it this coming Friday...

Just a quick question with regards to the AUX port on the stereo...Does it have a usb port to connect an Ipod or something? The new ones do but I am nit sure about the older ones.

  • 1 month later...

My uncle has the 2005 2 litre diesel Ghia model, with the lovely cream leather(or is it camel) inside. Very low mileage and with 5 adults and heavy cases in the boot it achieved 58mpg on a trip down south. He was heavy on the foot, but that is still excellent especially with aircon on also.
