Dorfer
I have look through a million pages online to try and find a guide to remove the from panel of my Mk6 centre console so I can wrap it in carbon vynil. On google there is little info about removing the full dash and other cd consoles not applicable to the MK6 Here is the one I have in my car... And there as only 2 screws that I can find to remove I am pleeding with someone to give me some info on how to remove only the light grey area of the panel so I can try and make it look a little nicer. If I have to remove the CD player, so be it. Many (many x100) thanks in advance for any advice =oD
Gazjs
Its a pretty quick job, but you need to remove the CD player. Remove the CD player Undo the two screws you show. On removing the CD player another screw will become visible at the back on the bottom. Remove this and its then just a case of removing the clips around the edges. Hope this helps
Dorfer
This does help so much. Thank you for your reply. I think I will make a guide on how to do this for any other inexperienced people like myself. Just ordered the PINs from eBay so should be here in a few days :) Thanks again p.s I will also post the pics of my carbon vynil cover if all goes well

A guide will be very useful to people, took me ages like yourself to find the answers on how to start it
