the shaymen Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Hello , I know this is for a KA but need help quick to get car back on the road. I managed to get the wishbones off no problem but for the life of me cant get the new ones back on , They are the correct ones but everything seems in the way and to add make things worse the drive shaft as popped out while i was pushing and pulling everything. delboy Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 the drive shaft will slide back in so thats not a problem try fitting the front end 1st & tap with hammer if needed then pop the bolt in but dont do it up then you can manouver the back end of the arm in. u may find it easier to put the back end in 1st then the bolt then the front end it's a fiddle so use a block of wood & a hammer then you will find it will fit. then you attatch the balljoint that's on the hub then the steering ball joint make sure you have the correct side your trying to fit and it's one with or without power steering as there are 2 types Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
the shaymen Posted October 13, 2011 Author Share Posted October 13, 2011 Sorted , many thanks guys for your reply, used old faithful (The hammer), Did the back bolts 1st then the ball joint, The drive shaft as gone back on but need to put the rubber boot on and I might need a new metal clip.
