Darren T
Do paid members get a membership card and does it entitle you to insurance discounts? Many thanks Darren
jeebowhite
Paid members get the FOC Supporters status, you dont really get a card as such, but some people have advised previously that they have needed a membership number, which for you would be 27805. Apparently this has entitled some folk to discounts?!?!? Anyway, other than that, you get access to a hidden forum on the site, and also you get access to the sales section of the forum, along with a free sticker. I am sure there is more to it than that, and there are links here for other benefits! Welcome by the way :)

"well sir, unfortunately your stickers are faulty, also the partial soap / glue residue content has now destroyed your UV protection on the rear window and it seems that we need to replace both windows... Yes I appreciate that the sticker is on one window only, but it seems the damage has been done... Yes Sir, also it seems that the additional weight placed upon your rear suspension has bucked the coils, we need to also replace that to prevent you losing weight distribution and causing an accident... Yes, no problem Sir, I will file your request... Thanks.... Worth a try I guess!"

jeebowhite
Steve, are these "insurance deals" any particular company or are there any that would turn a deal down?
Steve
We currently use Owners Club Insurance via Adrian Flux... we recently tested this with 4 quote and all 4 quotes beat the current insurance prices as we are given a percentage off.. upto 15% if you want to try them then let me know, i will speak to rob there who can give you a call. We are about to launch on the club but not sure the phone number is routed to them yet ;)
Preee
I used Adrian Flux for my Son's insurance and they were/are the cheapest i could find.;)
jeebowhite
I heard they are good, and coincidentally one of my customers... lol... I always found they were more expensive than my other quoters, however not by a great margine! I may have to bare this one in mind Steve, thanks for the tip! Darren T
I'm with adrian flux at the moment, I have the extra's they offer as well...eg flux rescue etc. They seem pretty reasonable to me. As a bonus if i choose to modify they will cover it.....All in all can't be bad
jeebowhite
Thats the main selling point of flux, they do allow unlimited modifications and no price hike for the privelage!
project-c
Flux lowered my policy by 150 for being modified, as it opens you up to the specialist insurers they use apparently. B.s or no b.s I had a 150 extra in my pocket in renewal lol
