You will need a new BT module the USB leads and the USB port that's located next to your aux input if you want it to look factory fit

Thank you. Do you have any idea of the part numbers so I can track these parts down?

iNath outlines the Finis numbers on page 1 and the correct module you need on page 5.

Hi

There are modules appearing with serials that are like the following:

CS7T-14D212-AC

Can anyone shed any information as to whether it would be suitable?

Hey all,

I bought these to fit to my Fiesta but its a 2009 and the loom is different.. epic fail but there you go.

I would recommend these parts to anyone with a 2010 Fiesta onwards.

Selling these bits as follows.

Ford bluetooth USB Voice Module 8M5T-19C112-AP - £95 posted

Fiesta Mk7 2010 USB Loom - £50 posted

USB Port - £6 posted (The one in the first image is the wrong one, replaced with correct part in second image)

USB/AUX Facia - £4 posted

All together £150 posted (I would rather sell as a set, it will also be useful for someone and save them time)

These are all new apart from the module.

Thanks thumbsup.gif

Not sure if anyone still watching this thread

I've fitted the Sony headunit as first step in this upgrade. Purchased correct BT USB unit

Still to get correct wires and USB connection plate

Looking back at one of the previous posts ( I think from Lez) it shows the screen after the IDS work done with an orange/ red backlight.

My original (lower spec) head unit had orange lighting and orange baklit screen also, the Sony headunit and the screen I've fitted have a white/ ice blue tiny lighting.

On previous Sony CD headunits I've fitted on older cars I've had, they had the option of changing the colour of the lighting both on the unit buttons and on screen.

Does anyone know if this is the case with the Sony headunit for the fiesta?

It is just with the lighting in the fiesta IMHO the red/ orange backlighting would tie in better with the existing lighting already fitted

Thanks in advance

Only way to change colour is to replace screen with a red one.

Cheers iNath,

Hmm not sure ill bother then as the buttons on the Sony unit would still glow white

I'm not sure how well it would work but if someone did fancy changing the colour of the screen a cheap option would be to remove the plastic sheet (LCD screen protector) from the screen unit and lightly spray the inside face with glass paint.

Off topic, I've done this on fluorescent strips for fish tanks in the past.

Seriously though I would only try this if u are very confident or have a spare that can be spared.

Same topic, just, but different part

I know some on here have changed the secret compartment to a drop down door, on the hinged version of the compartment cover.

My fiesta has the newer all clipped cover.

2 questions;

1) does anyone know if the cover can be swapped to the version with the hinge without also changing the heater matrix facia cover/ surround?

2) does anyone know/ can u see on the reverse of one that's been converted to drop down, the part number, because fordparts can't identify it from my part number and look for an older version of same part, so have asked for the part number.

Thanks again guys 😀

Tezza

My request to fordparts was

"The part I was looking for was an older version of;

8A61-A045N56 AFW

Bezel-IP-CENTER STACK UPPER"

And I explained that the one I have has clips where older one has a hinge onton the heater matrix facia cover

No joy though unless I can quote part number for older hinged version

You can't swap the clipped version for hinged one as you don't have the hinges for it to hook on to, and they're part of the dash behind the cover.

There are 2 USB looms so it depends which model module you have.

Hey mate,

It will fit the following modules as listed by iNath.

85MT-19C112-AR / AS / AT

These as far as I'm aware are the newer Mini-USB connection modules.

The lead I have will fit them - the other part numbers listed earlier in this thread by iNath are what I used and will be what your looking for if your looking to add it to a 2010 model Fiesta and onwards.

I have a 2009 model Fiesta, hence why I'm selling the bits - you need the USB connector as it clips to the facia where your singular AUX port is (You will need the AUX & USB Facia)

Cheers dude,

I have bought (although still waiting delivery)

Module 8M5T-19C112-AT

So that looks like it should work

Fiesta is 2011 so all should be ok from instructions we have on here??

If that's case tell me how to pay you and ill have both.

I guess then only the facia plate for USB and aux to get 😀😀🙏🙏
