I am happy I got my cruise control as an option on my Econetic. It's alot more accurate to maintain speed than my own foot. Consumption with cruisecontrol is always much better than trying to the same with my foot.

Yup, clutch or brakes switches it straight off then can use resume button to go back to original speed.

I don't think that there's any need for that kind of negativity. Nath has explained and made it clear that it is not a straightforward process that requires specialist knowledge and equipment. He has also shared the general principle of what he did and what needs to be done.

To document any more than that would obviously be very time consuming and, with the best will in the world, not everybody has the spare time to put stuff like that together.

As both Nath and I said, it's not for no reason! Helping someone by adding comments or notes to a thread is a world away from writing full instructions for a complex process.

If you look through this forum, Nath is one of the first to offer advice and to contribute to discussions. If it was a simple answer, I'm sure he would give you it. The fact that he hasn't given more detail simply shows that it's not straight forward either to do or to explain!

If it's complex to explain then it is also going to be time-consuming to explain and, with the best will in the world, not everybody has the spare time available to spend documenting complex installations.

Because lately all of the Fiesta forums seem to have gone fully down hill in terms of their user base, everything is getting capitalist and unwilling.

He is withholding it, as previously stated, for no other reason than self gratuity.

If I discovered something, i would make it available for the community whom I'd appreciate it from in return.

What I do know is that I have seen plenty of examples of him helping and advising on this forum. I'm sure if he was in a position to help he would. Unfortunately, I think your tone and attitude in previous posts directed right at him have probably eroded any goodwill he may have had towards you.

Think it's a huge job to do more than anything, and then he probably doesn't want you messing up your car or something really, to be honest though it's probably not worth it unless you really know what you're doing.

2. Yes it is. A high level explanation, i.e. which part of the XML is cruise control, is all I want/need to help others achieve this.

3. No you don't. You need a Ford techies half hour labour, and an XML file - which is freely available from the right sources.
