Mark85
Hi I have a Mk6 Fiesta and I am having some trouble with getting it to idle properly on cold start up. If I try to drive the car from cold, the engine will cut out, mainly when I hit the clutch and disengage the gearbox. I have read many things and I think its a problem with the Idle Speed Control Valve. I suspect this as I only have problems whe nthe car is idling. If I start the car and warm the engine however (holding 2000 revs for a while) it will run no problem once warm. My first thought was to try Wynn's Fuel Injector Cleaner and flush the system to see if it improves the start up. Has anyone ever had a bad experience using this? Can anyone offer any other tips for my idling problem? Cheers Mark
