Creepy Coupe
Can anyone advise me how to get messages to store/display in the MK7 Fiesta please? Does the phone have to actually receive a message when paired to the car? Ta
ONETrueSaturday
I was unaware the Fez has the ability to do so. Don't think it does..... Not with an iPhone anyway.

Lenny
Can anyone advise me how to get messages to store/display in the MK7 Fiesta please? Does the phone have to actually receive a message when paired to the car? Ta The messages feature isint for a mobile phone mate, its the cars messages for example when your windscreen washer fluid gets low, a message will log in the unit and the i on the dash will flash to alert you their is a message. Lenny
as far as i am aware, all models have the sensor fitted in the washer bottle and some need it to be activated by ford, but considering that could cost £50 to get them to do it, im happy to leave mine the way it is too. akakray
Why would they go through the expense of putting a sensor in but not activate it? That's like them putting a HUD in but not activating it - useless and a waste of money lol

That's like them putting a HUD in but not activating it - useless and a waste of money lol it may sound crazy mate, but on a production line is cheaper to fit all the cars the same, then limit the options with software, the focus has footwell lights on every model, but their only active on the titanium unless you wire them yourself, the same with the cruise control, all of the sensors are on the pedals of the focus on every focus, you just need the buttons and software, and again for the ESP switch the wiring is their just need the switch and software. also fog light loom is there just need the light units and switch. d2kea
Only messages I've seen are the door, boot etc open. Are there any other messages that would come up besides the washer level low?
