Yea defo get some they make the rear look 100% better :)

My service cost around 130 and mudflaps front+rear 27.76+ 27.76 + 15 Labor. I needed a screwhole and had no drill.

I recently said 165 for service turns out i payed 42 pounds in tax.

You could prob save your self the 15$ and do it yourself.

No drill are needed for either front or rear just screwdrivers

Need to get front flaps now

I've just sent mine in for it's first service today and the mud flaps are being added as well, currently have a courtesy car and they have them added. I can say they actually look real nice so i'll post a pic or two when i get back later today and after a car wash.

I actually sent it in kinda muddy, last time i did that they gave me a free voucher for a car wash. haha

Should have nicked them from the service car.

I couldn't find a hole where the mudflaps are which is why i just let them put them on. @dLockers: YES! i should of! LMAO

anyone ??

the clips that are already there are just sliping and the pastic is snaping off

need help.

Tried fitting mine today. Had to abandon after fitting the first front one cos snow started coming down!

Do you mean the plastic screw/clip that holds the wheel arch liner in place? If so I just turned the screw 90 degrees and then used a flat bladed screwdriver to prise it off. It's not an actual screw, more a sort of clip thing (don't knwo what the official name is!).

Update:

I've got the front ones on but I'm a bit unsure about the plastic screw bit you remove from the wheel arch liner before putting it back in the bottom hole of the mud flap. Is it supposed to go right through the mud flap and the wheel arch line or just the mud flap? I can't get it to "klick" in right through so the mud flap doesn't seem particular secure at the bottom and isn't completely tight against the wheel arch plastic.

Hi Did mine 1 was ok plastic screw thing went all the way in on one side but not the other so put in one tacken from rear much longer this did the trick.

The front mud flap you have to refuse the rivet mine does not click like instructions! Is this a design fault?

Can somebody suggest an alternative rivet that can be used?

  • 3 weeks later...

Just done mine front and rear without removing wheels. As usual this website was a massive help.

The rear ones are definitely more fiddly and would be better to remove the wheels.

If the rivets aren't fitting correctly then the mudflap is probably not sat correctly. A bit of gentle persuasion sorts that out.
