mcbutler
Well, had this car less than 2 weeks now and we are already on to snag number 4! Driving last night, depressed clutch to approach left turn, when I took my foot off the clutch the pedal stayed down and gear would not engage. Thinking quickly (well done me B) ) I tucked my toes under the pedal and pulled it up. After this it worked as normal but will surely happen again. Fluid reservoir is full, no signs of leaks and gear changes are normally ok, if a little notchy getting it into 1st! Any ideas anyone? BUY A HAYNES MANUAL I hear you scream, good idea I will go and get one now. Thanks in advance Mark
Z3 MON
Feel the pedal with you hand as far up as you can. Is there any liquid on it? If not I would suggest air in the system somewhere. Dave
mcbutler
Dry as a bone and no air. The fact that it is completely random and intermittent is confusing.
jeebowhite
might need a new clutch pedal sprint, could just be the other one is old, can buy them for a nominal fee (fiver or so) and if you are creative with your language and a spanner, you could fit it yourself?
