FIESTA_MAD
As above and it wont void my warenty ??
Stoney871
As above and it wont void my warenty ?? Changing bulbs is classed as replacable consumables and should in my opinion make no difference to a warranty. It doesn't void your warranty when putting air in your tyres or fluid in your washer bottle so don't see how bulbs would affect you unless changing the wiring from standard or splicing in extra cables. FIESTA_MAD
Even if i had to claim i could remove them anyways
Stoney871
Even if i had to claim i could remove them anyways Indeed - as i say though - can't see them being a problem, just don't drive with them lit as glare would affect visibility at night unless off road / show use. 2011fiesta
god there soo bright not 100% sure if i want them that bright . anything a little less bright ? Mine: http://www.fordowner...ootwell__st__15 (scroll down for pics of bulb and results) They are blue but you get a rough idea how much of the footwell is lit up - maybe more-so if you're going for white. FIESTA_MAD
just bought the ones in my link :) will see what there like worth a punt a £2.50 there will be no isues with draining the battery with these leds right ?
MartynS
Nope, being LED they actually use less power than the standard factory fitted bulbs in the Zetec and Titanium models (which are standard 501 sidelight bulbs). They also go off after a few minutes anyway (for example, after opening the door to get in and not starting the engine, or after turning the engine off and not opening a door). Long as they turn off with the ignition / internal lights you'll be fine. They don't draw much power anyway.
