Brake Caliper Paint???

Featured Replies

Just painted mine this weekend. I used Brush on Caiper paint from HalFORDS. I Would highly recoomend the Halfords caliper cleaner too. Just a quick spray and a light wipe made easy work of the grime build up. I didn't mask anything, just took my time and followed the instructions with regards to drying times etc. Here is the result:

With regards to all of the colour preferences, Red suited my car (In my opinion) as there are other little red bits such as the "S" badge, lights etc. I also would go for red on most cars to be honest, but Yellow looks good on black / gun metal grey. It's your own personal preference!

I havent seen a car that looked good with painted drums, I personally would go for black if any.

The red looks cool on the white car for sure : )

FLORYFOCUS how many coats did you give yours in the process of doing mine now hope mine turn out as good as yours look.

:D I'll probably get called a chav, but i have some of the black/silver versions waiting to go on my motor! My brand new set of polished ST alloys (my summer wheels) Are at the bodyshop awaiting extra coats of lacquer, the caliper covers will be getting bonded on as the new wheels are fitted. The way i see it, you can get away with fitting these quite convincing covers if you have a relatively closed spoke type wheel fitted...we shall see once i've bonded them on! B)

Hi. What do you think will go well to a black panther car? I want to paint the front and the back drum as well as they started to get rusty.
