Retrofit Usb Port To Mk7 Fiesta

I have recnetly bought a secondhand Ford Fiesta Mk7 1.6 TDCi Titanium which was registered in July 2009. I love the car, but it only comes fitted with a aux port, and doesn't have the additional USB port which appears to be fitted to slightly newer models. I believe the USB port allows you to connect an Ipod to the car's stereo system and access the Ipod menus via the stereo display. Does anyone know whether it is possible to retrofit the USB port? And if so, how you go about it and how much it is likely to cost?

Look at this on eBay:

Hi, this may well be the type of thing you're looking for.

If the back of your radio has a quad lock connector then this will fit.

I do have bluetooth and Voice Control on my car if this makes any difference?

It is possible but you need a new module which is near impossible to find from breakers and £330 from Ford. Then need someone with Ford IDS and laptop to reprogram the car.

it shouldn't as long as the changer socket is clear on the quadlock.

The changer slot is the c block on the left in green, you will probably find one is connected there as you say you already have an aux socket?

In that case the usb would replace it and the aux socket would be redundant.
