Gareth Whiteside
Hi, I'm new here. I've had a search round but can only find things that relate to 2011 models. I have a 2009 1.6 TDCi Zetec. It has bluetooth but only for calls. I don't think it has the profile for streaming music. Also there is no USB port where it shows in the manual. Is it possible for me to take it to ford and add these options? Would it need a whole new system or is it just an add-on? Thanks. I've bought a bluetooth receiver for the aux port from eBay which does work but It means messing about everytime I get it.

iNath
Yes it can be retrofitted. You need the bluetooth & USB module, USB cable to the gearstick, fascia (black trim) and silver USB connector that attaches to fascia. Then need someone to activate it on the car for you (ie independent mechanic with Ford kit - I say independent because Ford probably won't touch it) Oh, and the module is £330 new from Ford so you need to look at breakers yards. Lenny
Thanks Lenny, I'll have a look at this. No problem, the kit in the guide ive linked you to provide's is all that you will need, once the plug at the rear of the stereo matches the one that filters the stereo loom, but if it doesnt their are kits available from Parrot for around £15 that will provide them at the rear of the stereo. no software updates or schematics envolved, just free information with plug&Play technoligy
iNath
The USB music box doesn't state it's compatible with a MK7 - only Fiesta 2006-2008.
