Don't see the point of paying for a basic little facelift. I would rather wait for a new generation.

From those pics, it just looks like new light clusters and a bit of a nip and tuck at the front... probably some interior revisions. I wouldn't worry too much, it's still going to be a mighty popular car and the facelift will just keep it competitive :)

Meh, looks like they're trying to make it look like a mini-Focus, I hate it when manufacturers do that. The Mk7 now looks a lot better in my opinion.

The front end reminds me of a brabus lol

Not sure about the squinting headlights etc.

I think they actually made the Focus as a stretched Fiesta, Fiesta came first :P

Don't expect too many changes, it's only a mid life facelift. Expect a different grille and new headlights with DRL. Maybe take a look at the new fiesta ST for what might change on the standard Fiesta.

The Fiesta is due for a facelift, but I am confused as to why Ford Etis has a new model heading Fiesta 2013-.

Could this mean there is going to be an all new Fiesta?

Ford don't recognise the MK classifications most people use.

That's just the laymans way of determining the model for ease of reference.

Ford work on build year and registrations.

Indeed, but facelift models do not get a new build year as they are essentially the same car as the previous version..

A new build year heading means major changes to the model.

What about the Focus mk1 to facelift and Mk2 to facelift?

They had build years.

Old news, I posted this in January

lol

I like the look, the sharper more modern lights and grilles make for a more elegant grown up looking car. I think the current mk7 front can look quite dim or cutesie from head on. Just my personal opinion.

Anyway.....

See prev post:

Spy shots of the facelifted saloon gave a better indication of how the new front may look: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2014-ford-fiesta-spy-photos/full/#photo-5068435

Possibly a Mk8 in 2013 not a Mk7.5 Facelift (insider information)

Also this is a prototype look of the new Mondeo ST front end, but it could also end up like the new focus ST front end, Ford still unsure as to which way to sway
