Hi Rob I'm really not sure but as someone who is desperately hoping someone will reply to my post I thought I'd at least say hello. SierraYankee99
Removing the passenger seat will AT LEAST cause a problem in that the pre-tensioner will also be removed therefore there will always be a fault logged on the airbag control module. SierraYankee99
Fusion passenger seats have a table on the back and fold for just this reason dont know if you could get one moded to fit ?? I might be wrong but I got the impression he wants to use it whilst driving. For obvious reasons one on the back of a seats gonna be difficult to use whilst driving. hendrix
the whole passenger seat folds forward as in totaly flat so you have a table instead of passenger seat then folds back up to make a seat. plus using while driving is a) stupid B) probaly gonna kill yourself and some other poor inocent c) stupid again. RIIIDAA
Done it Not for a table, but for a false floor, to take a wheelchair at level load height with the door sill. True, modern cars have seat belt pre-tentioners and my last two have had airbags built in to the seats. This CAN be over come by having a 'terminator' built up with the correct resistance values to fool the car in to thinking the airbags and pre-tentioner were still plugged in. I had one made up for my new fiesta two weeks ago, a car adaptions specialist made the terminator for me, to then be plugged in where the seat unplugs from the loom, it cost me £135, as did my megane convertible 3 years ago. Prior to that I had a Rover 200's and a 25 which only had the pretentioner to worry about, and that was easy cos the seat belt buckle unbolted from the chair so could stay plugged in under the fabricated floor.
