GavChap
Does anyone know the normal operating temperature of the 1.6 (100PS) focus? I think my thermostat is stuck open, the engine gets to 80ish (2nd line) and stops there, it takes quite a while to get there though, about a 10 min run. artscot79
remember that the lines are a guide only and that is the coolant temperature not the engine temperature the engine temp is on the dash trick so in cool weather like it is the coolant will cool quicker going through the rad the dial is not an engine temperature gauge its a coolant temp gauge everyone gets that confused mate if it shot into red for example the coolant is not circulating indicating an issue the engine temp will be correct and likely at optimum the coolant cools so in warm weather it will be higher
