nemoa
Hi Guys, i'm new to the forums but need some advice with my audio system. I have the standard 6000CD with the "CDDJ" button and want to connect an iPod. As fair as i've gathered, its not possible so I have to change head unit?! Can anyone recommend a half decent double din unit to fit my car (only £150ish) . Other than the unit what else will I need to install it? Appreciate any feedback! joeyno1
Hi nemoa, I am looking for an answer to the same question! Did you have any luck with this?
Stoney871
I recommend the Sony radio as it's a direct replacement and takes an aux connection.
Brigante
Look here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=ford+focus+sony&_sacat=0&_odkw=sony+6000+cd+player&_osacat=
nemoa
I went for a model by Eonon, designed specifically for my model focus. Can't fault it! Just search on eBay for "ford eonon" and it should come up.
Dave the Dude
Thanks for the recommendation nemoa! Just wish it was available with a 7in screen but I suppose you cannot have everything. Is the GPS good and can you get (buy) further maps? (Thailand)??????
PaulE
See my thread from yesterday. £169.
Dave the Dude
See my thread from yesterday. http://www.fordowner...-din-cd-player/ £169.00 Thanks Paul, I already read it and what you have sure looks good and very reasonably priced too. My outgoing truck had a big screen DVD so I am really after something like that as a replacement for my new (old model in UK) Focus. GPS would be a bonus but maps for Thailand are usually next to useless. I think Kenwood or Alpine is a possibility although that Eonon looks very very tempting!! Cheers matey! From deepest Thailand! PaulE
Ah my mistake - I looked at DVD/Nav ones from china etc, but I'm really fussy over technology. I'd hate to have a touch screen that required an absolute battering to press a button etc. Looking to visit to thailand next year; didn't even know they had focus' over there haha. Dave the Dude
Sure have but Ford isn't as popular over here with the Thai's. The Mk 3 has just been launched a couple of months ago. If your (or any other members) serious about a Thai holiday, feel free to get in touch as i would be happy to help/advise you. I've been here for 7 years now! http://www.ford.co.th/cars/focus http://www.fordfocusclub.com/
