Fog Light Surrounds

I have a fiesta Zetec mk6, I want to paint the fog light surrounds a different colour, but unlike the Zetec s surrounds they are all one colour n don't have the silver rings round. Is it possible to change the surrounds to the Zetec s ones?

Quick look on Google for the facelift mk6 and I'm thinking it isn't possible. They surrounds look totally different on both cars and I think the zs are bigger overall than the standard ones.

Hopefully someone else will pop along and say I'm wrong and make your day :D

Well that was what I kind of expecting to be honest! Any thoughts on how hard/how good it would look to paint them? Was thinking of painting them blue to match interior cloth and lighting but not sure if it will look pants or not haha.

In my opinion I would leave the "mesh" as is or even gloss black and do the fog surround and edging in the blue.

As for how hard? Won't be that hard once it's off the car. Just remember that prepping the surface is key to a good job.

Yeah think I'll do that, just paint the circular part blue and leave the rest. Might have to take a trip to scrappy to try and save a few quid
