george1802boff Posted September 12, 2012 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Hello, On saturday my 2003 ford fiesta zetec 1.4 petrol broke down on me, the auxiliary belt had snapped this was replaced but then the engine will not start its turning over just not kicking in i have replaced the spark plugs and the HT leads and coil but still nothing. it might kick in for about 2 seconds but it sounds really deep (like a diesel) i plugged a diagnostic kit into it and it came up with crankshaft sensor but i have now replaced that and still diesnt work! any suggestions? Thanks It's driven off a pulley behind the aux belt. It's covered in so you won't be able to see it.
