Looks excellent preee,

Look forward to the finished results mate,

Colour codeing is cheaper than any hair dressers with the same level of transformation on the body.

;)

So true Lenny lol

Jeebowhite haha i can't think of any additions

Picked up my spoiler today from the body shop , so here are a few pictures i have taken before , during and after installation.

very easy to fit , remove inside top panel just clips out , 4x T20 torx , two each side and 3x 10mm bolts , the original spoiler had two plastic clip in guides and two plastic puch clips so after removing the bolts i had to give a slight pull to unclip.

Removed the high break lamp 2x T20 torx and washer pipe , and removed the old spoiler from the car , swapped over the plastic clips onto new spoiler ,

added the stick on soft protection strip athat nd fitted to the car. :)

I have noticed a slight colour grade difference , so i checked back to the body shop and they said that it will go slightly darker to match when the sun gets on the spoiler , if not then they will respray it for me , hardly noticable apart from me wanting perfection haha.

But i am really pleased in what a difference it has made and looks really nice.

Thanks Bigante , i really like the front , sides , :) i still don't like the rar lights but i'm facing forward most of the time.

Yes just the shape in general , i like the Mk 2.5 long clear len's , it would have looked better if it had blended better from the roof line, just my opinion , but i'm totally happy with the car.

Damn, that looks soooo good! Nice and clear guide too which will help me massively so ta for that mate. Btw, how did you put the 3rd brake light to stay on while you take the pic?! I've had to ask my sister to hit the brake light for me so I can then see what it looks like from behind lol. (I recently purchased a clear 3rd brake light from European-parts.com)

Thanks Scorer1uk , i use my long LED inspection lamp , jammed it between seat and peddle and then moved the seat forward. :)

Looks excellent Preee,

Improves the flow of the car nicely,

Do you notice rain running from the roof and down the rear window through the gaps in the spoiler?

Happens me with the mk2.5 good for cleaning though,

What's next on the list?

I reckon the mk2 custom climate control knobs will fit the Mk3 focus too,

car has the Electronic Climate so no where for the control knobs , i gave them to my Nephew ages ago for his ST , i'm thinking of plasti spraying the wheels in black just to see what they look like , unless i can get the gun metal colour in plasti spray

My paypal is empty again so i'll have to sell the Climair blinds i guess lol then i can get some spray

I will get some pics done , i have also when fitting the camera added a USB connection where i plug my phone into , and the camera now plugs into a 12v AUX in the glovebox , i did take pictures and at least with a weekend off work i will get myself into gear and update this thread a little.

So i was tired of a cable trailing across my gear stick for my phone.

So i brought one of these from eBay , i think it was £4.99 plugin USB outlet.

20130413_132258.jpg

So where to put it.

I decided i would place it below the steering wheel to the left, far enough away from my knee and easy access .

So here are a few pics along the way , stripped out the radio and climate so i could gain a little access and wanted to have a nose as to whats behind there :).

Stripped the USB down and soldered twin wire cable to it.

20130413_140054.jpg

Testing in still worked.

20130413_140306.jpg

How it looks stripped down lol.

20130413_144041.jpg

20130413_144052.jpg

Removed bottom steering trim , and drilled a 22mm hole for the USB to go through , i secured it with two 20mm O-rings which gripped the back to stop it coming back out.

20130413_153601.jpg

Back in place

Stage two of the USB Output , was to install a 12V Aux inside the Glove box as i needed a power outlet from the Front and Rear DVR camera i purchased from the Gadget Show live. It cost £50 + £10 for a 32gb Sd card. Sd card was rubbish and i have to purchase a Transend class 10 32gb off amazon which was £18.

Usb output and 12v Aux are linked together protected by a 3 Amp fuse.

Here's the camera in position.

20130503_141830.jpg

I removed the glove box , 5 screws in total , the rear screws are a pain to get too as they are right at the back and underneath , you need a torch as they are not easy to see. I then found the best position for the 12vAux remembering that i needed space to plug in/out.

This was wired via a 3 Amp fuse holder to 12v Ignition live wire in the Fuse box directly behind it.

I Didn't take any pictures sorry i forgot.

Here is the 12v Aux in position with the camera cable pluuged in.

So after giving the engine bay a good clean today , i decided the Ford Eco badge looked plain.

20130506_150710.jpg

So cleaned it all up , rubbed it down with wet and dry , and used my blue matching brake disc paint to paint the letters , looks cool haha.

Promptly stole one of wifes small make up brush cut it to a fine point and set about painting.

What phone did you use preee?

I'm running out of gadgets to add to mine now, but this might have to be done (in a less integrated fashion!)
