Wayneo01
Alright guys Thinking about getting some of this for my car to give the engine a clean out, is there any you would recommend? I was thinking about getting this one. Aswell do you just pout all of it in the tank once filled up and just let it do its thing. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_194101_langId_-1_categoryId_255221
Brigante
I have been advised against redex before. I used bg44k instead but for a diesel you need bg244: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ec1e0a5e2 To use, fill your tank as normal, do about 10miles to make space in your tank and pour the whole can straight into your tank. Run the tank down then fill up again as normal. This will flush out your pipes nicely.
merlin
If its a new engine. And you use good quality fuel. Dont waste your money, on a old car thats done nothing but stop/start it might help. But if you give it a good run out now and then and tank up with a high spec fuel occasionally that should be enough.

They're certainly not a waste of money, cleaner injectors and valves will prolong the life of the engine and prevent running issues.
merlin
BP Ultimate has the same cleaning property. http://www.bp.com/retail/ultimatearticlesection.do?categoryId=9036611&contentId=7067669 I use it all the time. Doesnt sound like a diesel taxi anymore. Used Shell for a while but developed a power stutter after 20 mins. Felt as tho about to stall so just use BP now. ++ BP have never sold me a tank full of water!!!!!!!!
