Hello everyone, Newbie here, I have a MK 2.5 Focus Titanium that already has powerfold mirrors, but I would really like to enable the fold by key function.

Is there anybody around the Berkshire/Hampshire area who has the UCDS tool and available credit to enable this for me?

Im in Essex mate not sure how far you are willing to travel im close to lakeside shopping centre

scrub that read it wrong

on a similar vein,

have no desire for elec folding mirrors, but self dimming would be useful.  was this ever an option?  Looked on fleabay and didn't come across anything to suggest it was every available

hi tezza, I have been reading this thread and some others about powerfolding mirrors.

i just wanted to ask you a few questions to make sure I’ve got everything right please.

 

i have a 2015 Focus MK3.5 Titanium.

to fit powerfold mirror into this car I would need,

the 2 powerfold mirrors

the doorcard with the powerfold button

some wire

Forscan and cable.

 

is that correct? Would I need any other looms, modules or anything?

will forscan enable folding using the remote?

In most cases on the mk 3.5 the wiring is already there ,to check this remove the tweeter panel and check the wiring plug that goes to the mirror if it has 8 or more wires you are good to go 

The parts you will need is just the mirrors and a new driver side window switch that has the power fold switch, then with the foCCCus software and adaptor just enable it

Ok check your mirrors connectors then by removing small speaker cover on door , 🙂 and let know how many pins you have , then we can move to another step

Would I be able to active them to close using the key fob using forscan? 

Hi all. Every interesting post I’m try to add the power fold mirrors as well I’ve got the eml forscan myself but want the mirrors to fold on the fob too I’m will to travel if not to far   Would anyone be interested in do this   Thanks 

If your fitting them to a mk3 focus they will fold on locking as its a standard feature 👍

It’s an mk3.5

doesn't currently have powerfold mirrors, just standard mirrors with indicator lights. 

 

Hi mines an mk2.5 on an 08 plate titanium with global opening and closing. lve already got the switch in the door panel  but not added the wires yet

You would need the FoCCCus software to activate them

I've tried using the foCCCus software on my car and it doesn't work.

Forscan works fine though. I was a key to activate my reversing camera with it.

Do you know what thing exactly needs enabling so I can have a look in forscan?

It not that plug you should be looking at its the other plug that it goes into  should be 7 wires but 8 in the passenger side one
