stef123
Postman/Driver. Got a nasty LDV Maxus, now using a Transit while the LDV gets fixed, nice to get decent heating in the Transit :) haha, LDV - by far the worst vans on the road! i can remember having a hired LDV minibus, got stuck in very bad traffic as a result of a crash on the motorway coming home from Nottingham. Possibly the worst 24hours of my life spent in that van

Phili Smith
I am a Civil Servant (allegedly) I work for an agency who has just become a Government Department, sounds interesting? no not realy I worrk in a warehouse full of files! Previous jobs though include, Postman, Funeral Director and Baker (I went from letter boxes to big wooden boxes and from burying the dead to raising the bread! many other jobs in the past including Ice Cream Man, Painter and Decorator, Fitters Mate and Knitting Machine Mechanic! I doubt there is enough charicters available in this box to list them all but my attitude was better a short term job than none so I did what I could, I even counted traffic in a survey, two days of that was more than enough! Sounds like a cool job - what model of camara do you use for your weddings, just as a matter of interest? (im just wondering if you stick with the Sony, or use a Canon or Nikon, like most pros use)

Even jobs I dont need a license for!! #1 - I feel for you bud, its amazing how everything you've worked for can go wrong so quickly, it seems a waste to the country/ society that someone such as yourself with your skills and experience is on the dole, i hope you find something soon, I see seemingly incompetent people (from my perspective, anyway) in good, secure, well paid jobs and i often wonder how they got them - maybe its true what they say - its who you know not what you know, or the ones who are most "economical with the truth" on their CV gets the interview, and the best BSer, gets the job. #2 - Ive dabbled a bit in motorsport, and am wondering if you could help me with my little project - http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/42441-my-mondeo/ I think i have pushed the little GT20 turbo about as far as it can go - i have a fully adjustable boost controller and i seem to have reached a "plateo" where i am increasing the boost but not getting any more power gains, the power drops off at the "top end" - i would like to extend it its a low budjet project and i want to retain the stock injectors, exhaust manifold (i have a second one, with turbo/ actuator etc- which i plan to ceramic coar and/or heatwrap, i have a 8mm ss EGR blanking plate (which i plan to fit the EGT sensor to) and an EGT gauge). With keeping the stock manifold i would probably be stuck with the stock turbine, (its a fixed vane) but would like to fit a larger compressor wheel & housing, but here is the thing- i don't want to significantly increase lag / raise the boost threshhold so im looking for a compressor(+ housing) that will icrease the gas-flow/ top end power without doing that - any comments appriciated (i can move this (#2)to my build thread)

You will most certainly running lean at the top end too. So what I would do is adjust the boost to the point where its the max boost you can run before it levels out. Have you had the ecu mapped at all?? If so is there any more headroom to increase the injectors open phase??
